REV. BRENDA CONTINUES EASTER SERIES
Please plan to join us this Sunday at 10 a.m. as Rev. brenda continues our Easter series based on the book, "The Last Week." This week she'll cover "OMG! Monday" and "Testy Tuesday." Come and find out what Monday's so-called "temple tantrum" is really about. And discover what it means when Jesus goes toe to toe, chest to chest and head to head with the so-called authorities. Remember, the Easter story is very personal. Come to UCR this Sunday and take the next steps of your own spiritual awakening.

VOCALIST AMY FRIEDL STONER, GUEST MUSICIAN

Amy Friedl Stoner Sunday's special music will be provided by vocalist Amy Friedl Stoner. Amy grew up in Mt. Vernon and studied voice at Simpson College. She has performed in many Theatre Cedar Rapids productions, with roles including Maria in "The Sound of Music." In addition, she has been a featured performer in Lynne Rothrock's Christmas Cabaret and many "Follies" productions. Her next performance will be in this year's "Follies" on April 27-28 at the Paramount Theater. Amy is a hair stylist at Neil Boudreaux Salon and lives in Cedar Rapids with her husband, Matt, and their baby boy.

REMEMBER TO "SPRING FORWARD" SATURDAY NIGHT!

Just a friendly reminder to "spring forward" and set your clocks ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday night. We wouldn't want you to miss all of the wonderful enlightenment  being offered at our service on Sunday!

A visitation will be held today (Friday) from 4-7 p.m. at Cedar Memorial. During visitation Rev. brenda will open a Celebration of Life service at 5 p.m. His funeral is Saturday, March 9, at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church. This is the last week and the topic is "Cherish the Gift," during which Jan will talk about using all six steps, as outlined in the book, to create healing, inner peace, and new life. And it's all in time for Easter! All the steps will be listed on the CommUnity room bulletin board for anyone to check out.
