REV. BRENDA SPEAKING, ANJI KAT SINGING

Anji Kosirog2Please join us at 10 a.m. for our Sunday service. Rev brenda will begin her Easter series, using as resources the Bible and the book, "The Last Week." In our first week of the series, we'll set the context for the historical, political and scriptural view of Easter. This Lenten season is our opportunity to explore our own personal Easter story. It is our pathway to spiritual evolution. The special music will be provided by UCR's own Angie Kozikowski. Also known to Cedar Rapids audiences by her performance name, "Anji Kat," she will be singing and playing her guitar. Anji writes music and sings a blend of folk, jazz, blues, and pop. She is truly inspirational, and has also agreed to play before service from 9:45 a.m. to 10.

LENTEN BOOK STUDY CONTINUES SUNDAY

Jan Griffith, Licensed Unity Leader, continues her Lenten book study this Sunday from 9 - 9:45 a.m. in Sacred Grounds. The book is "The Lazarus Blueprint" by Mary-Alice and Richard Jafolla and is available in Sacred Grounds and Books. The topic for this week's discussion is "upfront thanks" - how giving thanks in advance shows acceptance of the right outcome. Everyone is invited to come and join in the lively discussion.
