 is Doug Jackson, who will be singing with the Unity Spirit Choir to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. They will be accompanied by Nina Swanson on the piano, Louie Brigl on bass and Noah Swanson on drums. The fabulous Who Have You Come Here to Be? books and card decks that Rev. brenda used for part of the New Year's Eve service and a Sunday talk are now available in Sacred Grounds and Books. Books are $25 and the card decks are $20. All of the stock is on the shelves, so be sure to pick up your set soon! 2013 BOARD NOMINATIONS We have our final nominees for the UCR board. Paula Land is running for another term, and Gary Gilbert is running for the position being vacated by Don Epley, who is completing a 3-year term. Our heartfelt gratitude to Paula, Gary, and Don for their wonderful support of UCR! The board election vote will be held at the annual meeting on January 27th. Why is your attendance important? This is an opportunity for you to demonstrate active engagement in UnityCR. YOGA CLASS BEGINS JANUARY 22
Sign up to join Cindy Hathaway's new yoga class, which begins January 22. It is an 8-week session that will work on chakra clearing, devoting each class to a specific chakra. The classes will be on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. The total cost for the 8 weeks is $50. |
