REV. BRENDA SPEAKING, UNITY CHOIRS PERFORMING
Please join us Sunday at 10 A.M when Rev. Brenda will return to the platform to speak at the service. The guest musicians are our own Unity Spirit and Youth Choirs. The Unity Spirit Choir will get us in the holiday spirit with "Christmas Tme Is Here" and "The Christmas Waltz." The Youth Choir will warm our hearts with its cute rendition of "My Favorite Things."
STUFFED ANIMAL AND FOOD DRIVES END SUNDAY Just a reminder that this Sunday, December 16, is the last day to contribute to our holiday community outreach programs. This includes donations of non-perishable food items and/or money for the food bank, and donations of stuffed animals for various community organizations. We thank you and appreciate all the donations received so far.
HOLIDAY SERVICES SCHEDULE
Mark your calendars now for our services to celebrate the holidays:
- December 23rd Sunday Service, 10 a.m.: Comfy Christmas! Wear your pajamas or lounge pants to a service filled with stories, Christmas carols and warm, fuzzy feelings!
- December 24th, Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, 5 p.m.: Join us for a sacred, beautiful, meditative service honoring the Divine Light in all. Harp music by Jill Meadows.
- December 30th Sunday Service, 10 a.m.: Special year end service, details coming! Native American Flute music by Jonny Lipford
- December 31st, New Year's Eve Service, 7 p.m.: Don't miss this sacred service where you can release any regrets from the past and set clear intentions for life. Katherine Bergman will be providing harp music.
UNITY BOWLING ON DECEMBER 15
Go bowling with Joshua Haun and other UnityCR friends on Saturday, December 15, at 9:09 p.m. at May City Bowl, 1648 Trent Street SW, Cedar Rapids. (Note that this event is back to Saturdays again.)
