REV. BRENDA TO SPEAK SUNDAY NOV 11
Please join us Sunday at 10 a.m. for Rev. brenda's talk, "All That Babble." Rev. Brenda will take us into the confusing story in Genesis about the Tower of Babel. It has to do with "making a name" for ourselves by building towers, while God apparently has a different idea about that! Join us to find out how all that babble has to do with us!
MATT AND ASHLEY-HINSON ARENHOLZ TO PERFORM THIS SUNDAY
Ashley Hinson and her husband, Matt Arenholz, will be our guest musicians. By day, Ashley is a morning and midday news anchor at KCRG TV-9 in Cedar Rapids. She started taking piano lessons at age five, and violin lessons at age seven. She has nurtured that love for music her entire life, playing with the Des Moines Symphony for two years. Until recently, she also was a member of the Cedar Island Band. Matt Arenholz began playing guitar three years ago. He is an insurance agent. Ashley and Matt both share a love for not only classical and jazz music, but also Jimmy Buffett tunes as well.

TOWER RESTORATION PROJECT AT UNITY VILLAGE
Your leadership team has chosen to tithe in the name of our Ministry Team Members to the Tower Restoration Project at Unity Village. The Tower, originally designed to provide water to Unity Village, is being transformed into a Holistic Healing Center. The levels will follow the chakra energy model with seven floors of integrated holistic healing services divided into levels supporting the body, mind and spirit, with the seventh floor supporting Transcendence. On the seventh floor guests will have the opportunity to experience creative self-expression and union with their inner divinity. Check out the bulletin board display outside of the CommUnity Room. |
