It is my sincere hope that you will have a joyous Christmas and a Happy New Year.  Christmas is about the birth of Christ.  Because of that birth, death, and resurrection, we have the opportunity to have eternal life with God, our Father.  That is truly Good News!

Also, remember to keep our sick and shut-in members in prayer.

     AN ANGEL'S MESSAGE

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.  (Luke 2:10, 11)

Every Sunday many of us attend church services and listen to messages from the preachers of that day.  It is the desire of all to hear a Word from the Lord.  The messages should be designed to inspire us to have a closer walk with the Lord as well as to encourage us during difficult times. Some messages do that very well, and some not so well.  The message that is brought by the angel (above) is one that let's us know why we should be encouraged during this time of the year

The angel tells us not to fear, which means not to be apprehensive or afraid.  God is with us.  As a result we should be joyful.  For some, this may be difficult.  Perhaps we are missing loved ones who have passed away and our hearts are heavy at Christmas time.  Perhaps we are unable to keep up with the Jones's in buying toys for our children.  Are it may be that we would like to be joyful, but in reality the problems of life have overwhelmed us and we cannot feel the good tidings that the angel speaks about.

Whatever the case, just remember, Christ came that we would be "SAVED."  He is our Saviour.  Regardless of all of the negative things that may be happening.  Because of Him, we can be "SAVED."  We are guaranteed everlasting life with Him when we accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour.  That is one of the best messages you will ever hear.  It is an "ANGEL'S MESSAGE."

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
