THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS!

So Peter was kept in the prison, but prayer for him was being made fervently by the church to God. (Acts 12:5)

If I have not thanked you yet, please accept this message as my heartfelt "thank you" for your prayers; cards; phone calls, etc.  Thank the FWMBC church for pulling together in my absence.  I have had to miss not only our services, but preaching engagements at several other churches.  However, our preaching team has made sure that no service appointment was missed.  Bible studies, funerals, weddings, have all been covered.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

After Gladys, my wife, passed, my personal health challenges have all manifested at one time and I have been physically unable to carry out some of my prior responsibilities.   Accordingly, many of you have written me that you missed my "Weekly Messages."  Again, I apologize for that and hope that I will be able to resume my efforts in the future.  I have been hospitalized recently and had surgery and I am facing a few more procedures in the near future.  But God is so faithful.  Through it all He has covered me in the blood and I know all is well. 

In the passage above, Peter was in jail and physically unable to carry the Gospel message beyond the jail walls.  But the church was praying for him.  And their prayers worked.  He was delivered from the prison walls.  Like Peter, I can testify that prayer works.
