Weekly Message
BELIEVE IN 2015!
Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, "We should by all means go up and take possession of it, for we shall surely overcome it." But the men who had gone up with him said, "We are not able to go up against the people, for they are too strong for us."
I have learned over the years that the main difference between people is not the facts that they face but the interpretation they give to those facts. Different people can look at the same situation and see different things.
In the passage above, Moses sent 12 spies into Canaan ( one from each of the 12 tribes). Caleb and Joshua said, let's go enter the land. However the others were afraid to go because the people there looked like giants. They could only see the problems, and not the victory. As we enter in 2015, our attitudes will make a difference in whether we will have a good year or not. Some people see problems in a situation and are overwhelmed by them. However, others see possibilities and welcome them.
I hope that we will see 2015 as a year of possibilities that we can overcome by our dependence on Jesus Christ. I don't know about you, but I am going to "believe in 2015!"
