I THANK GOD FOR YOU

We always pray for you, and we give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for we have heard that you trust in Christ Jesus and that you love all of God's people.  (Colossians 1:3,4)

The story is told that Alex Haley, the author of Roots, had a picture hanging on his wall which depicted a turtle sitting on the top of a fence post.  The caption underneath the picture stated: "I did not get up here by myself."  As I look at my life, I feel the same way that turtle felt.  I know that so many people have helped me all of my life to keep me out of trouble and become a productive citizen who loves the Lord with all of my heart.   

Of course, if it had not been for the Lord on my side, I don't know where I would be right now.  But God also "used" you, my brothers and sisters, to encourage me, and pray for me along the way.

May all of you celebrate Thanksgiving Day with the grace of God as your companion.  I am truly blessed to have you as partners in this Kingdom walk.  You are a blessing.

I will continue to pray for you every day, and in my prayers, I will "Thank God for You as well."
