Awards, Installation of Officers and Directors Luncheon, Dec. 13

Join us! The festive Holiday Luncheon will held a week earlier - Thursday, December 13, Noon-1:30 p.m. at the Fair Oaks Community Clubhouse, 7997 California Avenue. The program will include the presentation of annual awards, the installation of officers and directors, music and surprises. Entree: Hawaiian ham. Cost is $17 for members with reservations, $20 at the door without, and  guests and future members. "Cash Mob" - Three Days Left!
Moth HoleThe Moth Hole will be this months Holiday "Cash Mob" host. This is one of many ways to be featured in a series of fun ways for you to shop Fair Oaks Members First!  It will be held December 1-9. We're adding a Fair Oaks "twist" to it and opening it up to other chamber members in the shopping centers. Here's how it works... The Moth Hole  will offer a featured item for $10 or $5. Go in and purchase it - then, you will find out about the other offers. We'll do this monthly at different businesses. The Moth Hole is owned by Rose Erickson and located at 11787 Fair Oaks Blvd. Fair Oaks 95628. It's at Fair Oaks and Madison, in The Almond Orchard Shopping Center .   • Northridge Elementary School's  Parent Liaison, Kathleen Davis, is planning a Winter Family Craft Night on Thursday, Dec. 6th from 6:00-8:00 pm.  She needs some more folks to help man craft tables. If you would like to volunteer please give the school a call at 916-867-2066.

Nominations Deadline Approaching 
It's that time of year again. Time to recognize a Business, Business Person, a Volunteer or Citizen in Fair Oaks who has promoted the Fair Oaks Community and given freely of time and effort to the community and charitable causes. Take a moment and review past recipients. Scroll down and get an idea of businesses and associate members that have been honored. Volunteer Opportunities For You!
Did you know that the Fair Oaks Chamber Committees are "open?" That means you can join a committee(s) anytime, even after planning has started on an event or other needed activity. It's also a great way enlarge your net and meet other business or associate members. Take a tiny piece or more, as time permits. Our major event committees are: Fiesta Days, Taste of Fair Oaks, Golf Tournament and Christmas in the Village.  There are other opportunities as well: Ambassadors, Mixers, Sponsorships, Honorary Mayor's Race, luncheon decorations, office volunteering and more. Memorial Fund Set Up  
Clay Wosnuk, an integral team member at Fabian's Italian Bistro passed away suddenly on Thanksgiving. A memorial fund has been set up in his honor. He is survived by his fiance, Kim and nine month old daughter, Wren. Donations can be made to the "Clay Wosnuk Memorial Fund, c/o Fabian's, 11755 Fair Oaks Blvd, Fair Oaks, CA 95628, (916) 536-9891.
