Fact Sheets on Supported Employment via the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law
The Bazelon Center for Mental Health recently published three fact sheets to highlight key reasons for states to increase the availability of supported employment for people with mental illness. The fact sheets highlight the effectiveness of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model of supported employment, summarize the cost and funding mechanisms for supported employment services, and explain how expanding access to supported employment services helps states comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Olmstead decision.
You can access the fact sheets here.
