Evidence-Based Practices in Rehabilitation Counseling: Findings from the Field

More than 60 rehabilitation researchers, practitioners, and academics convened at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on February 4 for a symposium to discuss findings from recent research on evidence-based practices in rehabilitation counseling.

The RRTC's symposium provided rehabilitation counselors and researchers an overview of evidence-based practices in rehabilitation counseling. Internationally-recognized scholars presented their recent research and discussed how it relates to the practice of rehabilitation counseling. Participants gained an increased awareness of ongoing research among the many stakeholders in rehabilitation counseling, as well as insight into future research directions necessary to promote the quality of life and inclusion of persons with disabilities. Presentation materials are available on the RRTC's website page.
