WARM HEARTS
  
 
Summer is hanging on, humidity is tough to bear, BUT a change is in the air. Summer doesn't last forever, and it will get cold.
  
Radiant Hands is having a clothing drive to help those less fortunate cope with upcoming winter.
  
Please join us by donating new socks, gently used sweatshirts, jackets, sweaters or blankets.  If you would like to send money, we will purchase items on your behalf. Please send your check to Radiant Hands Inc., PO Box 140661, Gainesville FL 32614 and indicate this is for the clothing drive. Contact your neighbors, family and friends to join you in this effort. Then, contact Pat or admin@radianthands.org and we will arrange to accept your donation.  
 
Our goal is to have enough warm items  to distribute to the homeless on October 26th. Last year with your help, we distributed warm socks to everyone who came to the lunch served by Project Downtown. Everyone also received either a blanket or a sweatshirt/hoodie. Several others were able to find shoes, and other items of clothing. 
  
Please make this year's collection even bigger and better than before ensuring each person will get a pair of socks, a warm jacket/sweatshirt and perhaps even a blanket.

Radiant Hands Inc. is accepting nominations for community minded individuals who might be interested in joining our Board. This is a great opportunity to  make a difference in the community.
