RADIANT HANDS IS ON TV!
 
ILENE SILVERMAN SHOW
  
Recently, Ameena and Pat were interviewed by Ilene Silverman for her local TV show. Ilene Silverman is a Gainesville native. She daily contributes time and resources to Gainesville\'s many health causes and cultural and arts organizations. Through her television show she apprises the community about its events, concerns and people. She regularly chairs or emcees nonprofit events.The show will be aired on the following dates on Cox TV.

FALL ARTS FESTIVAL

 

Radiant Hands will have a booth at the festival on Nov. 16-17. Please mark your calendar and come help us inform people about our efforts. Hopefully we will again be in front of the Hippodrome near Starbucks. More details to follow.

Families in Gainesville Need Your Help Please

 

It's not too late. This is a great time to arrange automatic payment either through your bank (free) or via paypal. Both are safe, require minimal setup and provide an easy way for you to make a difference in the community. Remember all donations are tax deductible.

 

Just recently we were contacted by the Center for Independent Living to see if we could help a family where both parents were deaf, their newborn baby had to spend 2 months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit before being released to go home. The family could not afford to purchase the special monitor necessary to provide require care for the baby, and after working with the company, Radiant Hands was able to purchase the  sonic alert unit for them at a reduced price. According to Don Barnes at the CILNCF, "these pieces of assistive equipment will be a blessing to their family".

 

 

 According to BM of Gainesville "I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart, you have helped us so much. God Bless you all Thank you". With your support and donation, RH assisted with her recertification fee to the Board of Education so she could get recertified to teach and find a full time job.
