 Happy New Year
 
 Radiant Hands would like to wish everyone all the best for the New Year. 
 
In addition, we would like to acknowlege everyone who supported Radiant Hands throughout 2012 for without you we could not help others. In 2012 your donation made a difference in the lives of  63 families including 130 children, bringing them hope for a better future by providing a place to live, utilities, medical services, educational opportunities to their parent and in some cases food for the table.
 
 The Radiant Works Scholarship provided a total of $1,386 for fees for exams and classes for the GED, CNA program. 8 people in Alachua County and 5 in Marion County were successful in getting their GED thus potentially opening doors for their future.
 
The goal for 2013 is to increase our budget to $30,000, and with your continued support Radiant Hands will be able to help more members of the community. Why not make one of your New Year's resolutions to sign up for automatic payment to support Radiant Hands and help us meet our goal. Now is the best time to act

Jean Ritch

Radiant Hands is pleased to announce, our Director Jean Ritch has been appointed by Mayor Craig Lowe to a seat on the  Board of Commissioners of the Gainesville Housing Authority.  We appreciate Jean accepting the responsibility and volunteering her time within the community. Radiant Hands encourages everyone to be an active participant in the community at large.
