SUCCESS

"Over a four year period, from time to time RH assisted, financially, a single mother who began the uphill climb from unemployed to full time working mother providing for her two children. M came to us pregnant with 2nd child and no job -- now 4 years later she has signed up for payroll deduction to be paid to RH totalling $600 a year.

Here is copy of email sent to M from United Way :

This email is to confirm your payroll deduction contribution of $600.08 to United Way through the 2012 Shands LIVE UNITED campaign, 100% to Radiant Hands.

This is just one of many success stories for those who were helped by RH, and the money used to assist was a direct result of your generous donations.

Your dollars do make a difference, please help us touch more lives like this testimonial from another young parent:

"There are no amount of words that can explain how thankful and appreciative my family and I are to have been helped and supported by Radiant Hands. We are so blessed and I hope one day Inshallah we can give more back to support Radiant Hands, so you can keep helping more people the way you have helped us."

MIRACLE ON MAIN STREET

For over 20 years, the Junior League has put on a "toy sale" in our community for families who might not otherwise have holiday gifts for their children over the holidays. Throughout the year, they collect new or gently-used toys, bikes, play houses, games, puzzles, dolls and books. After the fall Friends of the Library book sale, they fill the Friends of the Library warehouse from front to back with all of these items. On a Saturday, December 3, 2011, families bring a voucher provided by local community agencies and go through the warehouse with a personal shopper. Each year, they provide holiday gifts for the children of over 350 families in the local community.

If you are interested in supporting their efforts, please check out their site at http://www.gainesvillejrleague.org/?nd=miracle
