Dear Members & Friends,
Thank you for your attendance
At the A's lunc heon (left to right): A's bench coach Chip Hale, second baseman Eric Sogard, pitcher Tommy Milone and master of ceremonies Ken Korach.
To all who attended today's Oakland A's luncheon at the Airport Hilton, a big "Thank You!" The luncheon had everything you'd expect for a first-place team - cheers, chants, autograph hounds, a highlight video, and a prediction from pitcher Tommy Milone that the A' would repeat as Western Division champions.
Milone, second baseman Eric Sogard, and bench coach Chip Hale were on hand, with the luncheon featuring the radio voice of the A's, Ken Korach, as master of ceremonies.
The lunch was co-sponsored by The Salvation Army of Alameda County, and featured Capt. Dan Williams presenting plaques to A's wives and fiancés for their continued work with the Salvation Army and children in need.
Again, thank you for making our A's luncheon such a huge success - and Go A's!
Business & Procurement Fair set for May 16
On Thursday, May 16, the Chamber will host the Oakland and East Bay Business and Procurement Fair. This annual fair brings vendors, business organizations, public agencies and members of the local community together to facilitate business-to-business partnerships and create new customer leads. It's also a great chance to network in a fun, professional environment. Booths are available starting as low as $199 and individual attendance is free.
If you are a new member of the Chamber, this is an excellent opportunity to introduce yourself and your products and services to the broader Oakland business community. Existing members, particularly those interested in procurement opportunities with state and county public agencies, are also recommended participants.
Complete details can be found online at www.oaklandchamber.com. Please contact Ivette Torres at itorres@oaklandchamber.com or at (510) 874-4800, ext. 319 to reserve your booth.
God Bless America!

The Chamber is selling excellent seats for the game, which has a 7:05 p.m. start, with tickets in the Plaza Level directly behind the A's dugout! Tickets are just $40 per person ($50 for non-members) and the ticket price is guaranteed - even as regular ticket prices increase for this game, which is almost always a sellout.
