Dear Members & Friends,

It was a 'Chamber Day' at golf tournament

On a beautiful, "Chamber of Commerce Day" in the Oakland hills at Sequoyah Country Club, Monday's 21st annual Golf Classic was a classic success. Thank you to top corporate sponsors Recology East Bay, Chevron and Degenkolb Engineers, along with a number of other supporters who made the event possible with their generous support.

Congratulations to the Barney & Barney team of Dave Cannon, Pete Sitov, Jason Gambonini and John Chiang for their first place finish. The Torrey Pines Bank foursome of Sedrick Tydus, Mark Scott, Margaret Lowell and Charlie Merrell took second.

Thanks, of course, to the more than 80 golfers who took part in the fun event, to members of the Chamber's Golf Committee, and to Sequoyah Country Club for its wonderful venue and hard work.
