Club President, Jeff Behrens, called the meeting of March 18 to order. Once again providing the entertainment was Jonathan Turner, this week, featuring his Bunny Hop Singers.
The first announcement from President Jeff concerned First Vice President, John Califf, who, he reported, is undergoing radiation treatment. We all look forward to John coming back as soon as possible and sharing his company with us. Keep John and his family in your kindest thoughts and prayers.
Tom Plechaty reminded us that Rose Day is fast approaching and that he would appreciate gathering all receipts by April 9.
President Jeff again reminded us that Dining Tour books have apparently also succumbed to sequestration and are now available for the less-than-factory-invoice price of $30.
Liz Loveless again reminded us of the Division 17 Bowl-A-Thon. Liz needs to have all donations in by next Monday, so if you have not yet participated, please consider a donation.
Duncan Reid announced the NCAA tournament drawings. You can't win if you don't play, so jump in if you've not yet had the opportunity to do so.
Guests included a pretty good crowd of Builders Club members from Jordan Middle School.
In Fun and Fellowship, one of the Builders Club representatives won the preliminary prize, while Mike Bell managed to hang onto the grand prize.
