The Opening Act

IMPORTANT NOTICE: IF YOU PICKED UP YOUR BILLING INVOICE AT THE LAST MEETING, AND THERE WAS A PREVIOUS BALANCE SHOWING, PLEASE DO NOT PAY FROM THIS INVOICE.  Due to my laptop crashing, I lost records of dues that were deposited in November. The fine people at American Bank were able to help me retrieve copies of the checks that were deposited, and I will be correcting the billing for this Monday's meeting.  So please ignore the current invoice, and use the revised invoice to be issued Monday.

                                                                Daryl Empen, Treasurer

The Feature Attraction

Michael Coyne from Living Lands and Waters gave a fantastic presentation on their continuing efforts to clean up our waterways.  He discussed the history of the organization under Chad Pregracke's leadership.  He played a video about their alternative spring break program, where college students gather in Memphis to clean up the Mississippi River instead of partying down South.  He also brought some unique items he has collected over the years, including a toilet seat, clown shoe, bowling ball, and other items.

Upcoming Programs

January 21st    Rick Meir and Ed Lillis, RIHS Fieldhouse remodeling

January 28th    Andy Rockwell, Wounded Warriors Project.
