Bicycle Trade Association of Canada Launches New Website
The Bicycle Trade Association of Canada (BTAC) is very excited to launch their new website after almost a full year in development! "It was important for us to build a space where our members, partners, visitors and others are able to network and build a stronger community" said Bill Yetman, Executive Director. "We are very proud of the redesign of the site. It was important for us not just to develop a new site but to develop it with our members in mind" said Yetman. "Our members were very clear in their desires for the new site. They told us they wanted a site that was clean, with uncomplicated navigation, and that featured content that was relevant and up-to-date. I believe we have met those goals with the new site." The redesigned BTAC website provides improved functionality and benefits to members and visitors, including a simplified main menu with links to the most useful pages, details about our enriched association benefits, easy access to online member services, and improved content. Additionally, the fresh, sleek design of the site will provide users with access to relevant, up-to-date information about BTAC activities and initiatives, and regular updates on industry news, events, and advocacy campaigns through the site's attractive front page highlights feature.
The new site goes live today.
While visiting the site, please ensure you take the opportunity to visit our Take Action section where you can sign our petition and send a postcard telling Finance Minister Jim Flaherty to take action on eliminating the 13% tariff on bicycles and cycling-related goods. This section of the website will provide members, partners and others an important forum for voicing our concerns about relevant matters affecting the industry. We welcome your participation.
Our goal is to ensure you see value for your membership investment. The new BTAC website will be updated regularly with news, events, member notices, and other useful content. In the weeks ahead we will launch a number of new features and member benefits-bookmark the new BTAC website in your browser and visit often to stay up-to-date!. If you experience any problems using the new website or if you have any suggestions, please contact us at admin@btac.org
