Alzheimer's Foundation of America

Dear Friends,

Our hearts go out to all those who have been left devastated and distraught by Hurricane Sandy. At the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA), we understand the impact an epic storm like this can have on all families, but especially those dealing with chronic diseases. We stand ready to help and encourage you to reach out to our social work team.

Moreover, if there was ever a time to come together for care, it is now. Superstorm Sandy battered AFA's home turf - New York - and areas where many of AFA's member organizations are based. In its wake, the vulnerable Alzheimer's disease population has been left even more vulnerable. Family caregivers face even more difficult challenges.

Help us ensure that our families get relief and resources in their local communities---that they can depend on the senior center that offers the compassionate ear of social workers, the adult day center that affords a safe environment for loved ones, the Alzheimer's agency that provides essential resources like adult incontinence products or respite care grants.

Donate now. Help fund the recovery needs of AFA's member organizations and clients. This November, during National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month, your response sends a hopeful message that we're all in this together for care.

Our thoughts are with you,
