Volunteers help Society of St. Andrew
salvage food, feed the hungry
Every Tuesday and Thursday, volunteers from Concord United Methodist Church go to a Knoxville business to save buckets of fresh fruit from going into the trash. The fruit is then delivered to places where inner-city children and the homeless can enjoy the fresh, nutritional food they don't always get.
