UPDATE: Weather predictions, malaria offering Youth attending the Jan.18-20 session of Resurrection in Gatlinburg raised $33,000 for Imagine No Malaria, saving 3,300 llives in Africa.
An additional $1,200 was raised during the Jan. 20-21 family worship gathering, Rez Kidz. Registrants for the upcoming Jan. 25-27 session of Resurrection are urged to avoid risks and make careful travel decisions, as snow and ice storms are predicted in the Holston region. However, organizers said they do not plan to cancel Resurrection. Participants are encouraged to each bring $10 for the Imagine No Malaria offering.
