Churches serve 1,300 turkey dinners
It started seven years ago as a nice little church project: cooking and delivering Thanksgiving dinner to about 75 neighbors. On Saturday, Nov. 17, about 10 Wytheville District churches joined to provide a mega-meal to hungry people all over the county.
