More about the award recipients...
John Garvey
John Garvey

John Burwell Garvey is director of the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program at the University of New Hampshire School of Law. His leadership of this innovative legal education program, which provides an alternative option to the traditional bar exam, has propelled the UNH School of Law and the NH legal community to the forefront in improving legal education.

A trailblazing woman appointed to the bench in 1989, Hon. Pamela D. Albee, presiding judge in the 3rd Circuit, family and district divisions, is known as a "wise, meticulous and rigorous" judge. Albee, the only regularly presiding judge in her region of the state, carries her weighty responsibilities with determination, humility and grace, according to a letter in support of her nomination. (Due to a prior commitment, Judge Albee will not be at the Annual Meeting and will receive her award at another time.)

Honored for both his career as a prosecutor and trial lawyer and as a NH Superior Court judge in Keene, Hon. John Kissinger exemplifies the highest standards of professionalism.
