The Court of Appeals for the First Circuit is accepting applications to serve on the court's Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel, including applications from attorneys not currently on the panel and reapplications from panel members whose terms expire Oct. 1.

Give back to the profession. Can you spare some time to mentor someone new to the practice of law in New Hampshire? The NH Bar Association Mentor Program is looking for mentors in Merrimack, Hillsborough and Rockingham counties. New lawyers are looking for help navigating the system as they begin practice in all sorts of areas, including family law, bankruptcy, civil litigation, wills and trusts, real estate, intellectual property and general practice.

The 22nd Annual Quid Pro Bono Golf Tournament is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 13, at the Lake Sunapee Country Club in New London. Pro Bono is now accepting player registrations.

This year's Board of Governors election featured two contested races. The complete elections results were as follows: Mary E. Tenn, the current President-Elect, will take office as President of the NH Bar Association at the conclusion of the Annual Meeting on June 19.

Attorneys on active status for nine months or more between July 1, 2014, and June 30, 2015, must comply with NHMCLE requirements.

"Active" statuses include: Active, Pro Bono Active, Military Active, Honorary Active and July to September admittees per SC Rule 53.1.

Attorneys who have recently changed their physical or email address should submit a name and address change form immediately to update their member records. The bar association sends important correspondence to the addresses members have on file.

Attorneys also can update the professional photographs that are used in their member records. Submit a new high-resolution photograph by email to Karrie Fesette.

The NH Women's Bar Association invites bar members to attend a brown bag lunch with Judge Patricia Quigley from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, at the Circuit Court in Nashua.
