e-Bulletin Correction

The e-Bulletin distributed Feb. 4 contained inaccurate information regarding a public hearing scheduled at the NH Supreme Court later this month. We regret the error. The corrected notice follows:

The NH Supreme Court has scheduled a public hearing for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the Supreme Court building in Concord on two related recommendations made in the 2014 Advisory Committee on Rules Annual Report. One recommendation is to amend Family Division Rule 3.11 to provide that the appearance of court-appointed counsel in abuse and neglect proceedings brought in the family division pursuant to RSA 169-C is deemed withdrawn 30 days after the dispositional hearing, unless the Court otherwise orders representation to continue. A related recommendation is to amend Supreme Court Rule 48 to permit the payment of attorneys who work on behalf of parents in child protection matters for attending periodic review hearings held in the normal course of a case in the family division.

See the court order for more information.
