NH Superior Court Chief Justice Tina Nadeau is conducting evaluations of superior court clerks and their offices. You are invited to participate in this process by completing a short, anonymous survey about each of the clerks with whom you have dealt. Please note that some clerks are responsible for more than one office.

Evaluation surveys will be accepted until Friday, Aug. 29. The results of these evaluations will not be made public. To receive surveys by mail, contact the Superior Court Center at (603) 271-2030 or lbeliveau@courts.state.nh.us.



The NH Bar News is looking for articles on worker's compensation and personal injury law for a special section in the August issue. Articles should discuss developments in the law, tips for fellow attorneys or intersections of WC or personal injury with other areas of the law.

Leadership Academy The deadline for Leadership Academy applications is 5 p.m. Friday, July 18. The NHBA Leadership Academy was developed specifically for attorneys practicing in New Hampshire. This program provides:
  • A broader perspective of the legal profession, state government, the nonprofit sector and the media;
  • A chance to network with a diverse group of NH Bar members; and
  • A day spent shadowing a New Hampshire judge.

DOVE Register for the 2014 DOVE Project Attorney Training to be held Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the NH Bar Center in Concord.

This full-day seminar will focus on the basics of domestic violence-related law, from conveying insight into the dynamics of domestic abuse to providing effective legal advocacy for victims seeking domestic violence restraining orders. Observe and/or participate in a mock trial presentation depicting a final restraining order hearing.

This live CLE is offered at a reduced rate of $65 (includes materials, lunch and refreshments) for attorneys willing to join the DOVE Project and accept two referrals per year or current Pro Bono and DOVE volunteers.
