The US District Court for the District of NH has launched its new website. The web address remains the same, but the site has been fully revamped to improve the user experience.

The new site features:
  • A new opinion search tool that allows users to more efficiently and effectively search the court's opinion database.
  • Reformatted Local Rules and CJA Reference Manual
  • Upgraded listserv subscription service
The subscription service allows users to subscribe to the court's news announcements, civil and criminal opinions, First Circuit opinions, as well as national court news and opinions. Current subscribers to court news, civil and criminal opinions, and/or First Circuit opinions should see no change in service. The following lists were consolidated into court news: CJA, court announcements, local rules, published opinions and weather.

The opinion search tool, Local Rules and Subscription Service links can be accessed from the Quick Links section on the court's home page. The CJA Reference Manual can be found under the Attorney Information tab.

A video site produced by The New York Times transforms verbatim legal transcripts into dramatic, and often comedic, performances. The site is seeking material for future episodes. Have you come across (or participated) in a trial, depositions or other hearing that was surprising, bizarre or baffling-and might lend itself to a performance?

Email the producers at [email protected] and include 'Verbatim' in the subject line. (And be sure to copy [email protected] - We want to know about it too!)
