You know you do it. We know you do it. Help spread the word about it.
Justice For All Challenge A new initiative encourages Bar members to stand up and be counted for the formal and informal pro bono services they perform. Please fill out this easy web pledge form. If you intend to perform at least 30 hours of pro bono service in the 12 months until next March, we urge you to sign up. Actions speak louder than words about the positive impact lawyers have on their communities.

The Justice for All Challenge is designed to celebrate the spirit of volunteerism of the NH Bar. Justice for All seeks to capture the broad array of legal services donated by NH attorneys.

Dozens of attorneys and firms have already signed up to help us tell this story! Join firms including: Brennan, Caron, Lenehan & Iacopino; Cooper, Cargill Chant; Nixon Peabody; and Nixon, Vogelman, Barry, Slawsky & Simoneau, in signing up collectively as a firm to meet the challenge. (Individual sign-ups also encouraged.)

Services that apply include cases accepted through the Bar Association's Pro Bono Referral Program, legal services offered independently to individual clients, and time spent advising nonprofits that assist low-income residents of New Hampshire.

Sign up at the Justice for All Challenge webpage.

Law Day - When Love HurtsThis year on May 2, in honor of Law Day, we need lawyers and judges throughout New Hampshire to volunteer for a visit to a classroom. Will you consider being one of them?

NHBA President Jaye Rancourt, in cooperation with the Law Related Education program, has developed the program, When Love Hurts, a self-contained curriculum that teaches students in grades 8-12 the rights, responsibilities and realities surrounding teen dating violence and where to turn for help.

Through the Lawyer and Judge in Every School Day outreach you can present the When Love Hurts program or choose from other available topics lawyers to present at your school visits.

Sign up today or contact LRE Coordinator, Robin E. Knippers to learn more.
