Casemaker Adds Unpublished Opinions
Casemaker, the Bar's online legal research service, now has added 3JX opinions by the Supreme Court and selected superior court opinions that judges elect to post. These opinions are in an "Unpublished Opinions" category. Users can choose whether to include or exclude them from case law searches.

Are you a regular Casemaker user? Want to know more? Drop by the Annual Meeting on Friday, June 21, for live, in-person demonstrations of "Casemaker Tips and Tricks" by Casemaker's Jim Corbett from 2 to 4 p.m. (These are free, informal mini-demos and will not be for CLE credit.) Stay for the free New Lawyers Committee reception, too! Corbett will also be on hand on Saturday, June 22, from 9 to 11 a.m. for informal demonstrations and conversation.

And... the NH Bar Legal Research Users Group is scheduled to meet again at 3 p.m. on Monday, July 1. Contact Lisha Brosseau if you are interested in participating in our review of the Bar's legal research offerings.

BIA Event to Feature AG Foster - 6/27
NHBA members can receive a discount to attend a breakfast forum on Thursday, June 27, with Attorney General Joseph Foster, hosted by the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire. The event is scheduled for 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord.

The cost to attend is $30 per person for BIA, Capital Connect and NH Bar Association members ($45 for non-members). Click here for more information or contact Larkin Gause at (603) 224-5388 ext. 116 for more information. Walk-ins will be accepted on the day of the event, but tickets will be $10 more and payment will be required at the door. (This is not eligible for NHMCLE credit.)

Preregistration closes at noon, Wednesday, June 26.

Get 'Er Done - 6/30
By June 30, you want to be a member, for sure, of the IN CROWD - as in "in compliance" with NHMCLE Supreme Court Rule 53.

Please go to the SC Rule 53 web page and check your record, even if you think you have enough credits for the year.

If you know you need more credits, visit NHBACLE for info on CLE offerings. Between live webcasts, Annual Meeting programs and live programs next week at the Bar Center - you have many opportunities to earn live credits (several of them for Ethics/Professionalism) before the end of June!

Seeking Worker's Comp and Personal Injury Articles
NH Bar News will feature a special section on worker's compensation and personal injury law in the Aug. 23 issue. If you have an article idea, please email Managing Editor Kristen Senz with your topic. Articles will be due Aug. 2.

Bar News is still accepting short articles (500 words or less) on "Lessons Learned" in federal practice or bankruptcy law. These articles typically offer a quick tip or cautionary tale to other practitioners. Due July 1.

For more information on contributing to Bar News and to view our 2013 section calendar, please check out our editorial submission guidelines.
