Member Directory on Sale
The NH Bar will be publishing a pictorial membership directory, listing active-status members, in February 2013. Sold to members only, single copies of the directory will be available for $35, with special pricing of $25 when buying multiple copies.

Check your entry on the Bar's online member directory in the "For Members" area of the website. This is the information as it will appear in the printed directory, including photos. Need to update your photo? If you would like to provide or update a photo, learn how.

This is a sustained visibility opportunity - the directory will be a reference used throughout the year. We have created some new high-visibility places for advertising. Contact Donna Parker for details. Display ad information and rates.

National Trial Competition - Nashua - 1/31-2/3
NH has been selected as a regional site for the 38th annual National Trial Competition for law students. Twenty law schools are participating. Bar members with experience in litigation are needed to serve in 108 positions as presiding judges or scoring jurors during the four-day event. Read a memo about the 2013 Northeast Regional National Trial Competition at Nashua.

Practitioners are invited to bring a lunch and join Regional Court Administrator Brigette Siff-Holmes, Judge Sharon DeVries, Judge Susan Carbon, Clerk Diane Caron and Deputy Clerk Marcia Chin-Colby for a discussion, as well as a period for questions and answers.

Please RSVP at the court by Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013.

SOLACE - NHBA's Mutual Help Network
Earlier this week, all Bar members in good standing received notice of the creation of SOLACE, a mutual help network that will provide assistance to Association members or other members of the NH court or legal community.

To clarify, all members will remain on the list unless they opt-out. We expect that the list will not send frequent messages - messages will only be sent out requesting non-monetary assistance when needed, to provide follow-up information, and for quarterly reminder messages so that members are aware of this resource.

Whenever you learn of a lawyer, judge, courthouse or law firm employee or family member who has suffered a loss, illness or injury and has an unmet need, you can send a message through the SOLACE form. This will enable us to relay the request through an e-mail to the SOLACE list. The requests will be moderated.
