This Sunday, April 14
9:30am Funeral Consumers Alliance of MN
An all volunteer organization, FCAMN is a reincarnation of The Minnesota Funeral & Memorial Society that was founded at FUS in 1942 and has a long history of advocating for consumer rights through education, legislation, and action. Death is a topic not many of us like to think or talk about but each and every one of us gets one death no matter how long we put off the conversation. "Plan Ahead and Rest in Peace," this presentation by Jody Bystrom, board member of FCAMN, covers the history, growth, and current state of the funeral industry and provides up-to-date information needed to plan simple, dignified and affordable funerals.

Stewardship Update
Setting the Table Stewardship Campaign
While we are now at the end of our "official" stewardship campaign, we continue to ask those of you that have not turned in a pledge form to do so. To date, we have 116 pledges turned in (50% of pledging households), with $32,000 in increased pledges. Some of you who are on autopay have asked why you need to submit a form. Two reasons: 1) it gives you the opportunity to contemplate an increase, and 2) it validates your current financial commitment to FUS. We are setting the table for a special guest. Please help us finish setting our best table possible.
