This Sunday,

March 10

9:30am Transgenderism Issues and Discussion

Transgenderism is a broad and complex topic. Curious? Have questions? A panel of trans and allied FUS members will provide answers from their personal and professional experiences. Educational handouts too! So please join Mykenna and Annetta Cepek, Justin Anderson, Robin Raianiami and Mike Lamprecht to learn more about the wide variety of topics within the "T" in GLBT. Bring your questions and wonderings and we will do our best to answer. We plan this hour to be a relaxed, open time of exchange and we look forward to seeing you there. Oh! Don't forget your coffee. We will have muffins.

10:30am

The Legacy of Women Humanists
Speaker: The Rev. Dr. Pam Allen-Thompson.

The Setting the Table stewardship campaign is underway! Letters will be going out this week to all pledging households. When you receive it, please take a moment to review all the information. It will contain data about both your current pledge and a suggested increase as well as the pledge form itself. We are in a great position to set our table for the future-- how can you help?

Candidating Week calendar
The FUS ministerial candidate will spend the week of  April 7-14 at FUS, preaching sermons on both Sundays and spending time with FUS committees and groups getting to know people, answering questions and listening to concerns. Now is the time for FUS Committee Chairs and group leaders to schedule time with the candidate by contacting the Search Committee at search@firstunitarian.org with your request for a day and time (morning, afternoon, evening). Pot luck meals (breakfast, lunch or dinner) or dinners in member homes are encouraged. An FUS congregational meeting will take place on Sunday April 14 following the service to vote on calling the candidate.

Liberal Parenting Discussion Group
FUS Parenting Discussion Group Sunday, March 10, 9:00am
Please join us for rich discussions on parenting topics that affect our daily lives. All discussions are free and open to the public - nonmembers are welcome! Light refreshments and childcare are provided.

The Humanist Household. Facilitated by Audrey Kingstrom. Humanism is not a set of beliefs to teach your children but a way to show them how to approach life. Come review the core philosophy of humanism and gain clarity in your parenting goals. We'll discuss the challenge of raising kids who must navigate being both authentic and tolerant when faced with intransigent religious belief. And, we'll share ideas on effective ways of putting our humanism into practice in our everyday living and parenting. For more information click here.
