We're Wild About Birds!

Saturday Bird Walk − Bird Count − June 25, 2016
Sunny and warm. 80°F. 2-10 mph. 11 participants.

I've been wanting to go to Sage Trail for several weeks, but the vote always went another way, so today I vetoed all other options so we could go there. We had great flowers, snakes, and birds.

quite small when they are perched. Nighthawks and their kin often perch along a branch rather than across it. This posture along with their coloration helps them hide in plain sight during the day.
