It is the day before Christmas Bird Count so we traditionally search Teller Farms as a scouting mission for Scott Severs who will officially count the Teller Open Space tomorrow. We did not turn up too many birds this morning or anything rare, but it was pleasant non-the-less. We often see rare or rarish sparrows along the shelter belt near the parking lot, but this area was particularly quiet this morning.
