We had a relatively quiet songbird morning today. Sometimes it's like that. Still, it was beautiful weather and the leaves were really calling our attention. Waterfowl are starting to take over the show.

Mountain Bluebird

It was really fun to watch a big flock of bluebirds working the pasture to the west of Lagerman this morning. They were not close so when you focused your binoculars on the pasture you just saw all these blue lights on the ground. The bluebirds were especially working the bare and muddy sections of this pasture. As you will see from the slide show, our images are not great given the distances, but they still show how prominently they showed up.
