Lifer! I got a life bird this morning; the long-tailed jaeger. Normally, this bird is a pelagic species (i.e. ocean species), but we occasionally get jaegers in Colorado on the larger bodies of water. We didn't have the best look at it, but it is exciting just to think that we got to see it in semi-arid Colorado of all places.
