Earlier this week, word went out that a Pacific Wren was spotted in back of Sawhill Ponds. When we got there this morning the place was crawling with birders all milling about, pishing, and bushwhacking to get a glimpse of this secretive bird. So there was no real chance of seeing it when we showed up.
