Intense birding this morning - not for the faint of heart. It has been cold for days here in Boulder County. Last week we enjoyed mild temps and open water, but
so much has changed since then. The only open water we found this morning was Boulder Reservoir and Left Hand Creek. Look at the fog images from the
Reservoir on the slide show.

Snow Goose
The snow goose is our Bird of the Day, but we only got to see its head poking about the weeds. You can always count on seeing geese when the weather is
bitter cold. Look for odd geese in the corn fields during the day.
