We headed to Rabbit Mountain today in search of raptors. Weather conditions were perfect for Rabbit Mountain raptor viewing - north wind to drive the birds down and cut off the thermals to keep them low. That was my opinion, but the birds must have thought differently. We did see some, but not as many as I was hopeful about. Anyway, there is still not much wrong with hiking up Rabbit Mountain on a beautiful fall day!
