In the aftermath of the massive flooding, all Open Space areas are closed, leaving us with far fewer bird watching locations to choose from. That, combined with the status of the roads, helped us to choose walking from the store to see our birds this morning. It was a surreal experience to walk along Boulder Creek thinking that the rushing waters had recently been destroying so many lives, and so much land and property. We would like to send out our thoughts and prayers to all in the region and especially to our customers who were affected by the flooding. We hope that your recovery will be swift and you can move on with your lives soon. View our Saturday, September 14, 2013 Bird Walk
