Pygmy Nuthatch
Pygmy Nuthatch
Today's Bird was picked because of its numbers and omnipresence. However, the group never got a great look at them. They were calling and flying around high in the trees, but never a good look. That's the way it goes bird watching sometimes. No one was able to get a good image of a pygmy nuthatch on the walk so we are using one I took a few months ago.
Pygmy NuthatchYoutube Video by cmadsen08Pygmy Nuthatch My Folk's House Last week I was in Minnesota helping my mom move out of her house. It was a bitter-sweet endeavor, but a good move in the end. The sad part was leaving the wonderful property that I grew up on and that my mother has gardened for decades. In between the box hauling, throwing away, and cleaning I took a few therapeutic images. Hope you enjoy my folk's property in our Slide Show.
