After we got into the canyon, and the wind died down, we were surrounded by almost constant bird song. That is only one of the wonderful things about bird watching in June. At the end of our walk, a hummingbird put on quite a show which you can enjoy in the slideshow. It's always good to end on a high note.

Even though the hummingbird put on the best show, we had to search for and be patient with the green-tail. The hummer was just too obvious. Good things come to those who wait. While waiting for the green-tail to show itself, we had plenty of time to listen to and learn its song.
