Every Saturday year-round. No reservations required.  Every last Saturday of the month we travel further afield than normal and return a little later.  Bird Walk locations are determined on the morning of the walk.All ages and birding abilities are welcome!

Wintery, to say the least, on this morning's walk. The only bird we found in "spring" mode was the dipper singing its beautiful song underneath the 75th Street Bridge. It was an adventure this morning to get out and experience (with the birds) the extremes.

American Dipper   
The dipper we saw this morning was enjoying a dip in the creek for a while. Then it went under the bridge where we were happy to follow it. It was nice to be out of the wind. The dipper sang for about a minute. Great acoustics under the bridge! One of the images in the slideshow is of the dipper with its eyes closed relieving
their white eyelids. You often see this flash of white when you are observing dippers. However, in this image it looks a bit satanic.
