 NOTE: View Slideshow from "Wild Tree Day" at Wild Bird Center in Boulder along with photos from our Saturday Bird Walk. We went looking for another rarity this morning. A Northern Cardinal has been seen in the foothills west of Boulder for a couple of weeks so I just had to go looking for it. We did find it, but our looks at it were poor. After the cardinal, we went looking for more rarities along Boulder Creek, but again we were a bit disappointed. Still, we had a wonderful morning birding. Dakota Ridge Trail:
