Gowns Gowns and More Gowns
For the height of The Season, our selection includes classic and nouveau designer lines, including Mikael Aghal, who "combines fine Italian silks, such as soft chiffons and charmeuse, silk taffeta, and jacquards, with feminine, structured cuts for the worldly, modern glam girl." Gowns that dance for all sizes, at prices even Rent the Runway can't beat! Come see this and more in our Boutique.

Consignors bring us Italian riches
This hand-carved carousel jumper was purchased thirty-some years ago in San Francisco. The consignor recalls the Italian artisan who made this piece specialized in the carving of such horses. Possible locations for this charming horse - aside from in your own home -include an ice cream parlor or a children's clothing store. We have this pretty equine displayed in our Upper Level near a fabulous painting by Jon Corbino - also of Italian origin and renowned for his paintings of horses. Take the elevator to Floor 2 and be surprised at what's in store.

A CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
The people who volunteer with Designing Women Boutique KNOW.... Fashion - how to put elements together, what's best on what body type, what's your color. And where that hidden gem is that could look fabulous on you or make the perfect gift. Furniture - mixing and matching styles, color, pattern, and how to make your environment sing. Data - they know their way around a keyboard - words, numbers, workarounds - and take pride in getting it right, fast. Merchandising - sightlines, form, function, wayfinding - making things look pleasing so our customers can readily take it all in.
Together, all of us strive to give our consignors and customers the best experience possible. In return we get fun, new friends, and a chance to contribute to increasing DWB's grants. And oh, did we mention that generous store discount?
If you have the skills, passion, time, and want to be part of this stellar team, please call Annie Sundeen at 941-366-5293.
