Casting Out Demons
This morning I was studying my Bible and reading the many ways Jesus helped people. Christ's ministry was multifaceted. He healed the whole person. In fact, in Luke Chapter 5, the Bible says Jesus preached, taught, healed, performed miracles, witnessed, and cast out devils.
What I love about Modern Manna is that it is a multifaceted Bible-based ministry. At Modern Manna and BellaVita Lifestyle Center we teach, preach, heal, witness miracles, and even cast out demons when the rare  occasion arises. We don't go looking for demon possessed people and do not claim to be a deliverance ministry, but sometimes demons manifest themselves in a cold sheet treatment. The last episode involved a petite woman who suddenly turned violent when I asked her if she loved God. She said she loved Jesus, but the Father was a different story. I have experienced this disfunction on a number of occasions usually when a father has seriously abused the person when he/she was a child and the person hates their father as a result.
After my question, and while she was wrapped in three cold sheet blankets like a burrito, the smiling, gentle woman changed her demeanor and lunged at me snapping her teeth together and tried to bite me. She repeatedly spit in my face and followed with speaking in tongues. Anyone could see her demonic eyes were filled with hate. When the cold sheet treatment ended, she could not recall anything she had done or said. I have learned to never parlay with the devil, but only meet him with Scripture, a "thus saith the Lord," and by the power of God to leave the body under attack. Demon possession and healing the sick can come as a package and sometimes does. (see Matthew 4:23, 24; 10:1).
This week I want to share more healing miracles at BellaVita. To God be the glory, for God is the True healer not man. He may use a human instrument to do the healing, but it the power of God that works the miracle. Only God has the power to cause the lame to walk, the blind to see, and to set the captives free. He heals the brokenhearted too. More and more people are coming to BellaVita to experience God's healing love.
At BellaVita many of the healings take place not instantly, but over the ten day session. As a person cleanses the seven elimination organs of the body and rebuilds the immune and digestion systems, healings can happen fast. God has programmed our bodies to self-heal, and it is natural for the body to strive in that direction. As we correct wrong living practices and discontinue them, the body balances and heals what needs to be healed.
The 10-day program is educational and practical. As the eight laws of health are practiced daily, the body resets to the Master's settings and heals. Blood pressure goes down, blood sugar balances, energy levels increase, and so forth. Praise God for the information he has provided to change wrong lifestyle habits and start new ones.
This month Modern Manna will begin another RISEN medical missionary school. I once asked the Lord, "How many should I take at a time?" He answered, "I took 12." The twelve students will arrive on the 11th of October for a two week intensive program to learn the multifaceted ministry of Jesus Christ. Please pray for us at Modern Manna as we set out to train 12 new disciples for the ministry.

The Power of Forgiveness
"For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also
forgive you" (Matt. 6:14).
Forgiveness is the intentional and voluntary process by which a victim undergoes a change in feelings and attitude regarding an offense, lets go of negative emotions such as vengefulness, with an increased ability to wish the offender well.
Forgiveness starts with you.
Forgiveness is the key to freedom.
Forgiveness is returning to God the right to take care of justice.
Forgiveness does not set the other person free, it sets you free from the power of sin.
Forgiveness is not based on others' actions but on our attitude. People will continue to hurt us through life. We either can look outward at them or stay stuck and angry, or we can begin to keep our minds on our loving relationship with God, knowing and trusting in what is good.
