The world is a lazar house filled with victims of both physical and spiritual disease. Everywhere people are perishing for lack of a knowledge of the truths that have been committed to us. The members of the church are in need of an awakening, that they may realize their responsibility to impart these truths." CME 10 I remember in the early 1990s, I began traveling the country calling people's attention to health reform and the medical missionary work. There were so many sick people who needed council on how they could prevent and reverse diseases with simple God-given remedies and lifestyle training. Soon the Lord opened the way to have my own radio show, Healthline, which aired every week for 15 years on in Stockton, CA. Vegetarian cooking schools and health lectures became a way of life. With much prayer, we opened a vegan cafe called Back to Eden that was very popular. Annually, we started the Health and Healing Crusades in Lodi that featured some of the best natural doctors and health educators in the country. Men and women like Dr. John McDougall, T. Colin Campbell, Dr. Neal Barnard, Dr. Hans Diehl, Charlotte Gerson, Dr. Richard Shultze, Dr. Lorraine Day, and others. From 2000 to 2004, we drew thousands of people to Lodi for the free four-day event. Imagine 80 motor homes, 150 campers, two kitchens serving hundreds of vegan meals, 100 exhibitors, radio and TV advertising, and over 2,500 people the Sabbath alone to learn how to prevent and reverse disease using simple remedies like the 8 laws of health, herbs, and hydrotherapy. I would teach the crowd how to cleanse and detoxify the 7 elimination organs of the body, how to cleanse the gallbladder of gallstones, and how to make simple healing drinks and medicinal herbs. At the Crusade, we taught lifestyle medicine, juicing, live food recipes, natural healing, herbal medicine, and the importance of God 8 laws of health (Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunshine, Temperance, Air, Rest, and Trust in Divine Power). We taught the huge crowds who came from all over the country and abroad, that disease is caused by violating the laws of health which leads to toxicity and deficiency. Cancer survivors, like Dr. Lorraine Day, would awe the crowd with stories on how they gained the victory over breast and other cancer using God's remedies.
